Born out of sheer passion and with over 3 years of research, development and evolution, it culminated in Bodhi... enlightenment. Bodhi set out to rethink the ongoing relationship between our personal care and wellness routines, and the impact it has on the environment. The increasing number of synthetic ingredients found in the multitude of skin, hair, body and even home care products we use on a daily basis not only affects our physical and mental health, it also has a devastating effect on nature and the environment.

Bodhi means “enlightenment”. Directly translated, it is “to awaken” or “to understand”. The Bodhi Tree, also known as the Sacred Fig, is the Tree of Knowledge and Tree of Life. With this namesake comes the responsibility.  Bodhi believe that long-term physical, mental, ethical and spiritual wellness outweighs short-term quick fixes. A healthy body, well cared-for skin and a balanced state of mind indirectly results in a more youthful outlook, helps increase confidence and promotes contentment. Ingredients that are ethically sourced from sustainable origins. Bodhi uses plant-based and naturally derived ingredients to formulate the products, blended with the finest quality essential oils and absolutes at high ratios that are potent and effective. The range is naturally free from harsh synthetics like parabens and sulphates, and does not contain synthetic colours or fragrances and animal ingredients.  Animal testing is not condoned and all the products have been tested on and evaluated by a volunteer panel of human testers.
